Clay Coil Cuties

Instructors, Diane Grice and Laura JonesOn Day One, students will learn to make clay coils and then use them to make a variety of ceramic pieces, including cups, plates, and bowls.  Student creations may be whimsical creatures or classic designs.  Finished pieces will be bisque-fired in preparation for glazing. On Day Two, in February, clay creations will be glazed and then fired a second time. Students will have to return to the studio later to pick up finished pieces. Students don't need to bring anything to class except their imagination, and no prior skill or experience is required.
